PROSGENIA C+

Primary use:

Prosgenia C+ supports the prostate, healthy urinary flow, the immune system and promotes healthy cholesterol levels by reducing cholesterol absorption.

The phytosetrol Beta Sitosterol is known to inhibit the conversion of testosterone to DHT [dihydrotestosterone] and estrogen . This dramatically assists with the maintenance of testosterone and estrogen levels, increasing the probability of long term prostate health. Phyotosterols also reduce cholesterol absorption and enhance and balance the function of the immune T helper cells.

The Catechins in the Green Tea extract provide a potent antioxidant. 

It is well known that vitamin D boosts calcium deposits in bone and helps regulate the immune system, but there is compelling scientific evidence that it also supports healthy brain function throughout life. We require around 5-15 minutes of unprotected daily sun exposure to optimise vitamin D synthesis from the skin as there are very few foods (mainly fish such as salmon & cod) that naturally contain it. Supplementation is therfore important, especially in winter. Many studies recommend that the daily allowance of this vitamin should be increased up to 2000IU per day in order to be beneficial for most age groups. Recent research also indicates that signs of vitamin D toxicity are detected only after daily dosages exceed 50000IU for several days or weeks.  Studies have also shown that men with prostate problems often have low Vitamin D levels.

Suggested daily dose for Prosgenia C+:

Long Term Prevention– one capsule twice daily 30 minutes before food.

Short Term (3 months) Restorative, 1 capsule three times daily, 30 minutes before food.
